This requires a shift in mindset. You would assume that focussing on “making money” is the way to actually make money. At least, that’s what I thought when I started. Boy, was I dead wrong. You want to turn your business into a graveyard, ask for money before you’ve added any value. What separates humans from most other mammals is the ability to think critically. Sometimes this thinking ability is put into question. The fact that Donald Trump is a front running candidate for presidency really makes me wonder. But aside from the occasional brain farts, us humans are relatively smart. That means if you try and scrape a buck off us, we get mad. Even if it’s just one goddamn dollar. We’re not stupid. And we will remember how you tried to screw us. Even if it was less than a McDonalds happy meal. So not only will people not buy from you, they’ll dislike you too. Which means at best they’ll forget you. At worst they’ll smear your reputation — and deservedly so...
